My Path to this moment…

Weaver of Movement, womb wisdom, and embodied remembrance

I have been devoted to the healing arts for over a decade. My journey first began in 2014, when I began facing my own stuck trauma and I looked for other ways to support myself. I found yoga and decided to earn my Yoga Teacher Training, which led me to deeply commit to the practice and dance as a therapeutic practice. When I turned down this road I discovered the importance of embodied healing. Through movement, nature, and self devotion I began to remember my own wholeness and the sacred wisdom that I held within.

I had my daughter in 2021, which led to a long pause as I learned to be a solo mother in this life and completely transform my life as I knew it.

In 2022 I completed my Somatic Trauma-Informed Training and began more formal studies of dance and movement therapy.

At this moment I began my own journey of healing and began truly focusing on how I can shift my own way of being, to shift it for my daughter and our lineage.

I devoted myself to following and seeing the magic everywhere in life.

I continued my studies, moved to the coast and back to Bend, and went on an Ancestrial medicine wheel journey I had been cultivating for 3 years. A turning point in my entire life and way of walking as a woman.

When I was traveling on this journey I was carrying my grandmothers and grandfathers ashes that we had been holding for 8 years! I drove them and my daughter to a part of California they grew up and had asked for some of their ashes to be spread.

While in the area of deep ancestrial lineage, I could feel a deep calling, one that I had wanted for years but could not find the courses that felt true to my heart.

Then, I turned to google. “Womb ceremonies” “Womb practices” and that is when Womb Hara flashed on my screen. Late at night, with my daughter fast asleep, and the winds and waves crashing outside, I discovered medicine that would completely change my life.

After speaking to my teacher, I knew this was my thing. This was my Darhma, this was the modality my heart and soul craved.

So much I could share about this journey, what aligned perfectly for me, what turns I took to get here. The stars aligned. My ancestors heard my call and prayer. And here I am, in devotion to myself and deeply devoted to women.

I have so much love for children and women and what women do and be in this world.

I am here to offer support to guide women to remember who they are when they are connected to their wombs. When we truly embody our wisdom and truth.

I am here to weave together movement, ceremony support, and nervous system regulation to you. To the feminine woman in all of us. A rememberance, devoted to wisdom, softness, and the power that lives within.

I see you.

I believe in you.

I love you.

Healing is a remembrance of relationship: with ourselves, with the earth that holds us, and with those who came before.

A rememberance of our sacred nature.

I currently live in Bend, Oregon, with my daughter, whose presence continues to deepen my path as both mother and in reverence to others.

Why Soma Sanctuary:

Soma Sanctuary was born on a quiet walk by the sea on the Oregon Coast where I resided for a few months to take a break from the cold of Bend — the name whispered itself through the waves. Soma means “the body as perceived from within,” and this sanctuary is exactly that: a space to feel, to soften, to remember yourself from the inside out.

A place to reconnect with your essence, to honor your nervous system, to awaken your womb, and to remember the wisdom that has always lived within you.

This is Soma Sanctuary
a place to return,
to rise,
to be held.

To feel safe and be honored as who you are.

To be tender and dive into the womb of your heart.

And so it is.
